Kevin Coffin has over 20 years of experience in the field of investment management systems for institutional investors, having served in senior management roles overseeing operational, financial and investment system responsibilities. He has in-depth experience with operations and investment accounting procedures for a broad range of investment securities and has successfully managed numerous large, complex investment accounting, data warehousing and performance measurement systems related projects. Kevin has designed target operating models, developed operational workflow procedures and control processes contributing to efficiencies in transaction processing and staff productivity for many of InvestTech’s largest clients. Kevin leads the knowledge center for Eagle Investment Systems implementation project issues and solutions.
Prior to InvestTech, Kevin was Senior Manager of Investment Support for Western Asset Management, responsible for securities accounting, valuation and AIMR compliant performance composites for $80B (325 portfolios). He also managed 40 investment support staff. He served as a member of the Western Asset Fair Value Committee, and was responsible for independent assessment/development of security pricing policies. Prior to Western Asset, Kevin was the Project Supervisor for the Trust Company of the West, and full-time manager of an investment management accounting system replacement project. He also led a conversion team of six charged with NAIC insurance statutory reporting of $5 billion in assets.
Kevin received his BS in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University and an MBA in Management from the University of La Verne.
